WHAT TO EXPECT - HIIT & STRETCH Who wants to work on some cardiovascular endurance? HIIT stands for High Intensity Interval Training. But don't let the name scare you. It's actually lovely because the High Intensity part is done for less than 40 seconds, often only 20 seconds, with a quick break between. Set in intervals, this is one of the best ways to get your heart stronger. Our goal is to get your heart rate up, let it come down, and then get it up again. Think of a bicep curl with the contraction and extension - we are applying the same principle but with that beautiful muscle that is your heart. Our HIIT session will. be followed by a glorious and well-deserved stretch session targeting your bigger muscles with nice, long holds. I strive to create a non-judgmental, welcoming environment and, as always, options and modifications are given for all levels for every exercise. MUSIC I won't be playing any music on my end, but if you need some tunes my Spotify is https://spoti.fi/34qltce WHAT TO EXPECT - ONLINE CLASS Here's a bit of what to expect for the live online classes - We start off the class with a Question of the Day to get to know each other a bit better, and then get straight to work! You're welcome to turn your camera off after the introductions if you feel more comfortable - I usually will be watching everyone and giving general and individual corrections because safety is really important to me as a Certified Personal Trainer. At the end of class I'll open up the room for any questions, check in with how you're feeling, and share any announcements. I intentionally teach my classes to be challenging for my clients to give them something to reach for. I encourage breaks, listening and honoring your body, and doing whatever you need to for where you're at on that day. So no pressure from me. I'm honestly just proud that you show up, I know that can be the hardest part! CANCELLATIONS If you decide you can't make it, you can always cancel your reservation up to 5 minutes before class starts.
For Classes: Cancel at least 5 mins before the start time to avoid paying for the class! For Personal Training Sessions: Cancel at least 24 hours before our session.
